Ladera Rec has a blast using this air-dry clay to make ice cream bowls!
We used air-dry clay (which is not my favorite - brittle and fragile) but we do not have a kiln so this works just as great for now!
All of the children just love coming to art class to use the paint. Today we used special paint that is "glossy". The conversations the children had are adorable like the flavor they are painting and if they have sprinkles - I was salivating just thinking about it! Yahoo for ice cream.
The inspiration is from Wayne Thiebaud who did a lot of dessert themed paintings.
