I did 3 different lessons on Laurel Burch's Fantastic Felines. This time, the class did one large cat with white pastel on black paper. If they had space, they could add more cats and flowers, as Laurel adds flowers, dragonflies and other background fun to her art. I put out 2 bins per table of 2 color schemes: cool and warm. They could choose between these, and find that you can make many colors from their limited selection. I would recommend any of my Fantastic Felines lessons for any age group!
