A little fun with scissors, glue and our imaginations, my small K-3 Art Club used artist, Laurel Burch's "Fantastic Felines" for inspiration.First we cut the silhouette of our cat, then added facial features. Next, we drew flowers on white paper with oil pastel, cut and pasted. Last was drawing leaves on green paper, cutting and pasting. I liked seeing the variety of cat head shapes, and the willingness to allow their shapes to creep off the page.
