To celebrate Valentines Day we decorated the Recreation room with several Romero-Britto inspired hearts using Sharpie and washable watercolor. We watched a couple of YouTube videos of Romero-Britto's studio and his inspiration and process. The children then used what we have been learning about line and line pattern to create a fun design. I was surprised that the group took the entire hour to finish their designs! usually this group flies through the lessons. :)
